What better way to begin fulfilling my desire to
spread and live Peace, Love, and Happiness
then to identifying ways those three things can be brought to life.
I started thinking, what do those three things have in common? What do peace, love, and happiness need in order to be manifested? The answer I kept coming to: The Fruits of the Spirit.

When I am living my life the way God designed it for me, I'm going to be using the gifts He gives me. I am going to be better able to spread the three desires of my heart for 2015.
I use the phrase, "Here I GROW Again" throughout my daily life. I say it when things are challenging, disrupted, tumultuous, or any time I'm being stretched beyond my comfort zones.

Galatians 5:22-24 The Message (MSG)22-23
But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.
Those stretching me moments are helping me Find new ways to use my gifts, find new ways to discover and share peace, find new ways to spread and live lovingly, find and practicing happiness. These things are going to be out of my comfort zone at times and I'm going to have to stretch and grow.
Throughout our days we are going to have moments that grow us into the people God wants and needs us to be. We have two choices, fight it or grow with it
My growth moment this week? A moment I could have fought but instead chose to grow with; Helping my sister move a homeless man into a brand new apartment and supplying him with the means to get started. Amongst the things that made me a bit uncomfortable, I met a man who simply needed someone to care. Someone to offer him a hand up. Someone who was simply longing to be seen as a human who holds worth.
All too often we're looking the wrong way or choosing not to look at all.
